HOW TO COOK RAW HERBS (TWICE DAILY)

One package of raw herbs will be cooked twice, once in the morning, once in the evening, then discarded.

  1. Place one package of raw herbs into a glass or ceramic pot (do not use a metal pot as this will react with the herbs).

  2. Add 600ml of water to the pot.

  3. Bring the water to a boil on a stove top (do not use a microwave). Once boiled, reduce the heat to a simmer and leave covered with a lid.

  4. The total cooking time, including the initial bringing to a boil is 40 minutes.

Dish out remaining tea in the pot into a cup. Do not discard the cooked raw herbs left in the pot. Once the tea in the cup has cooled to room temperature, drink it. Do not sip the tea slowly; it should be ingested at once. If the tea is thick, DO NOT add additional water to make it thinner. Ingest it as is.

SECOND COOKING OF RAW HERBS

  1. Add 500ml of water to the pot.

  2. Bring water to a boil on stove top, and then reduce the heat to a simmer and leave covered with a lid.

  3. The total cooking time, including the initial bringing to a boil is 30 minutes.

Dish out remaining water from herbs into a cup. You may now discard the cooked herbs, as they have been cooked twice. Let the cup of tea cool to room temperature and then ingest at once.

If instructed by the clinic, you may cook multiple packages of herbs at once.

HOW TO COOK RAW HERBS (ONCE A DAY)

If you prefer to cook your herbal dosages once per day, you may do so. The instructions are a little different. Add 1100ml of water to the herbs; follow by cooking at medium to low heat for 75 minutes.

Strain out the remaining tea from the pot into a container. You may now discard the cooked herbs. From this tea, measure out one cup. Once the tea in the cup has cooled to room temperature, drink it. Do not sip the tea slowly; it should be ingested at once. Put the remaining tea in the refrigerator until you are ready to drink it in the evening (remember to bring it to room temperature first before drinking). If you need to offset the taste after drinking the tea you can take a teaspoon of honey.

POWDERED HERBS

If you receive a bottle of powdered herbs: Place one tablespoon of herbs in a cup, add a little hot water to dissolve the herb. Top up the cup with room temperature water. As an alternative, you may add lemon and honey to taste, or use orange juice rather than water to taste.

Please Note:

  • Herbs should be taken at least 4 hrs apart, preferably morning and evening

  • Herbs should be taken at least 30mins before or after food

  • Herbs should be taken at least 30mins apart from other medicines

  • Herbs should not be cooked in a metal pot. Use only glass (Pyrex or Visionware), ceramic, or clay pots.
