Bill Zhaogong Xu
Bill Zhaogong Xu (pronounced Bill ‘she’), R. TCMP, R. Ac., has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 30 years. He has mastered every area of traditional Chinese medicine with a special concentration on women’s and men’s fertility and reproductive health.
Xu studied at the Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China from 1975 to 1978. He then worked in Zhejiang as a physician of TCM for 4 years before continuing his education in TCM and Western Medicine at the Zhejiang University of TCM from 1981 to 1985 where he attained his degree in medicine (MD). In 1991, he was appointed as head physician at Shanghai General Hospital.
In 1996, Xu was invited by Sasazaki Oriental Medicine Research Center in Nagasaki, Japan to fill the role of Director of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There, he taught doctors and pharmacists TCM and also practiced in the area of female and male infertility. In 2003, Xu moved to Canada to raise his family and pursue private practice.
Xu is a member of the Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Association of Canada and a member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). He has a strong family connection to TCM; his sister is also trained as a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. As a senior member of our team, Xu is very happy to be a part of Total Wellness Centre. He enjoys treating people in and around Toronto, and would love to share his passion for health with you.
