In a recent article, editor in chief of Allure Magazine, Michelle Lee gives honest and thoughtful insight into her experiences as an ‘older’ pregnant woman. Ms. Lee is pregnant at 44 years of age. 

At Total Wellness, we frequently hear of the anxiety caused by difficulty conceiving. Less often, we hear about the anxiety people feel when pregnant at an older age. 

Ms. Lee speaks about her earlier pregnancies fifteen years ago and contrasts them with her current pregnancy. Yes, testing protocols have changed, support channels too. But, Google, you weren’t causing anxiety 15 years ago when, at 3am and unable to sleep we google the results of our most recent blood work.
